Ad Rights Rider

These terms are in force and written in plain language on purpose: you should be able to actually read them. Professionally reviewed updates will follow as we grow; we’ll notify you if anything material changes.

This rider applies to a collaboration only when the campaign requested ad usage rights and you (the Creator) accepted them for that collaboration. It supplements the Creator Agreement between you and Sixth Degree Creator Marketplace Inc. ("Sixth Degree") and the campaign record. Last updated: August 8, 2026.

1. What you're granting

When your fee for the collaboration is released, the brand receives, in addition to the organic licence in the Creator Agreement, a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered content in paid advertising, limited to the channels and duration shown on the campaign when you accepted:

  • Paid social ads: running the delivered content as paid placements (including boosting) on the brand's own ad accounts.
  • Whitelisting / partnership ads: promoting the content from or in partnership with your handle, using the platform's official partnership-ads tools, only for this content.
  • Duration runs from the date your fee is released. "Perpetual" means no end date; otherwise the licence ends when the period does; the brand must not START new ad placements after it ends (ads already running may finish their scheduled flight).

2. What stays yours

  • You still own the content: this is a licence, not a transfer.
  • No edits beyond cropping, formatting, and platform-required adjustments; the brand may add campaign captions but may not alter your creative or your words.
  • Your name, handle, and likeness may be used only as they appear in the delivered content and in the ad tools' standard attribution, nothing beyond it.
  • Exclusivity is not included: nothing here stops you working with anyone else.

3. Money and timing

  • Ad rights are priced into the fee you saw before accepting; there is no separate later charge or deduction.
  • The licence activates only when your fee is released. If the collaboration is cancelled or refunded, no ad rights were granted.

4. The legal frame

This rider is part of your agreement for the specific collaboration where you accepted it, recorded with its version and timestamp. The Creator Agreement and Terms of Service otherwise apply: Ontario law, Toronto venue.
